Royal Power Demo, home

Solar for every community. No downtime for your estate.

Our engineers visit your estate or development to assess energy needs, roof space and sun exposure, then design a system that meets your goals without compromising the architecture.

Predictable energy costs for estates, developers and body corporates.

01

Renewable energy for developers

Whether you need to meet planning conditions or simply want homes that sell faster, Royal Power works with developers and housing associations from the drawings onwards, so the solar is designed in rather than added on.

02

Keep your estate powered on

Gatehouses, security, pumps, lifts and common areas stay running through load shedding. Whatever the style of property, we combine the right technologies while keeping the integrity of the design.

A day on solar. Watch where your power comes from.

Drag through the day, then switch the grid off. A hybrid system keeps the lights on.

  1. 01

Panels capture sunlight. The silicon cells release energy as direct current (DC) electricity.

  2. 02

The inverter converts DC into alternating current (AC) that your home or business can use.

  3. 03

Surplus energy charges the battery, or is fed back into the grid where allowed.

  4. 04

When you need more than the panels and battery give, the grid tops you up.

Think smart. Plan ahead.

The right system size, the right funding and, above all, a reliable installer decide how much solar gives back for years to come.

Honest, impartial advice

An open-book approach and expert advice instead of a hard sell. We guide you through the whole installation.

Proven quality

Independent, with no ties to one brand. Only tried and tested tier one products, so your warranties stay intact for the life of the system.

  • Sun exposure and roof

How sunlight falls across your roof through the day and the year decides where panels go, and whether the roof can carry the system's weight and size.

  • System size and energy needs

We size from your current and future consumption. Bigger makes more power but costs more upfront, so the right size is the one that pays back best.

  • Invest in your future

Lower bills, protection from rising tariffs, and a property that is more attractive to buyers. Homes with solar tend to sell faster.

Will we have a dedicated project manager?

Yes. Every job has a dedicated project manager who guides you from design and approvals through to commissioning and handover.

How are panels fixed to the roof? Will they cause damage?

Panels are mounted on a rail system fixed to the roof. The system is designed to keep the strength and integrity of your roof while staying watertight.

How long do solar panels last?

Quality panels can last up to 40 years and lose roughly 0.5% of their output per year. Product warranties are typically 10 to 12 years and can often be extended. Your consultant will explain the trade-offs of each panel when specifying your system.

What happens during load shedding?

With a battery or hybrid system your property keeps running. The inverter switches to the battery and solar automatically. On Sigenergy systems the changeover is 0 ms, so even computers and tills don't notice.

Is the feasibility survey really free?

Yes. One of our consultants comes to you, surveys the site and works through your energy use. It is worth R1 500 and there are no strings attached.
